What Is Antimicrobial Technology?

Antimicrobial technology is an innovative substance that works to inhibit the growth and reproduction of bacteria, mold and mildew. At DTR, we infuse our textiles with titanium dioxide and silver chloride technology to create a shield against bacteria.

Infused with Antimicrobial Protection
Our special water-resistant fabric is infused with the silver-based additive Ruco-Bac-AGL, otherwise known as Silverplus, which is an EPA-registered treatment, and has been shown to suppress and virtually eliminate the growth of mold, mildew, fungi and bacteria on the product. Our antimicrobial fabric is resistant against strains of various bacteria and germs, providing permanent product protection.
